On Wednesday, a huge blaze occurred in an edifice which accommodated both a restaurant and a hotel located in the populous Malviya Nagar area of South New Delhi, resulting in the deaths of at least 21 individuals and injuries to many other individuals. The victims consisted of more than 40 individuals, who included foreign nationals traveling to India for health purposes. Although the cause of the blaze is yet to be determined, the Indian prime minister, Narendra Modi, conveyed his sympathies to the affected families.
